The maintenance of the Bafang mid-motor takes about 1h and is very simple. No special tools are required. You only need 2 different Allen key attachments (to remove the housing cover, controller and stator), as well as a flathead screwdriver. If the seals are damaged during maintenance, they should be replaced. We recommend that you keep 1 set of motor gaskets in reserve. To maintain the engine, you also need conventional gear grease (do not use oil!), silicone, and a special grease for the nylon gear.
